HANDLING CLINQ HAIR JEWELRY

Please note here a few recommendations, just in case and because a little reassurance is never misplaced.

CLINQ hair clips can be used much in the same way as regular snap clips, but below you will find an additional option of closure for extra grip. All our clips are made from high quality stainless spring steel which makes them ultralight yet durable. Yes, we consider them jewelry, but they are also designed to be fully functional for everday life.

TWO OPTIONS OF WEARING CLINQ HAIR CLIPS

  • We propose two different ways of handling CLINQ clips, depending on your type of hair and what you want your clip to do:

  • CLASSIC

For regular hair and usage, handle CLINQ hair clips the same way as you would with regular snap clips.

  • To insert the open clip into your hair press down the center pin

  • Snap the clip closed by pressing down the end points of the frame

  • EXTRA GRIP

If you have fine hair, or would like to hold larger amounts of hair in a knot or ponytail, we suggest to wear CLINQ as detailed below, pushing the centre pin above the frame. While this might seem a little counterintuitive at first, it will thoroughly enclose your hair and add considerable grip and strength to your clip.

  • For extra grip and to hold a larger amount of hair, press down the center pin and, with the clip still open, push its tip above the frame

  • Snap the clip closed, with the tip of the center pin resting above the frame

  • Close up: the tip of the center pin needs to sit on top of the frame to increase grip and hold of your clip
